do you know what this quote is from?

“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”

We’ve already seen a batch of character posters for The Avengers featuring the whole gang, but nowEmpire has unveiled a whole new slew of magazine covers for their most recent issue featuring four of the superheroes. Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America and Thor all get the spotlight complete with heroic stances. Iron Man doesn’t look too different, and Black Widow is essentially the same, but Thor and Captain America have had some decent changes to their wardrobe. However, in the case of Cap, I think I liked the old World War II suit a little better. Oh, well. Check out all four of the magazine covers below!
Here are the four new Empire magazine covers featuring The Avengers:

When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The star studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård who are reprising their respective roles as Loki and Professor Selvig from Thor. Marvel’s The Avengers hits theaters everywhere May 4th, 2012.
